My name is Gary Wilson and I work for Ackerman McQueen as one of their Senior Interactive Developers. I specialize in Flash/Flex ActionScript development and would consider myself to have an advanced understanding of the technologies.
Currently I live in a rural community about an hour plus away from work. Being originally from small town Iowa, the more rural the better. I have three wonderful children and my best friend is my wife. We’ve got it pretty good. Yeah, we could always use more money, we complain about people and life, but all-in-all we’ve got it great.
When not at work or just hanging with the family, my time is often spent honing my ActionScript 3.0 skills, keeping my design talents fresh and reading. I love books. Especially Christian theological and apologetic studies. Oh yeah, and I quite enjoy playing my Xbox 360 and PS3 (and PSP, and Nintendo DS).
If asked whether I’m a Mac or PC guy, I’m definitely a Mac guy. Linux versus Windows? Linux.
